Ricca Terra 2020 Arinto

As the reality of climate change settles in, our more innovative winemakers are adapting.

How?

Mostly by replanting grapes better suited to hotter, drier weather.

It's cheaper than moving south.

Ricca Terra in Barmera, SA is one of the fast movers.

Never heard of Arinto?

Most haven't.

From just north of Lisbon, wines made from it are long standing Portuguese favourites.

Ricca Terra's iteration is surprisingly rich and full bodied while simultaneously remaining refreshingly crisp.

There are few dry whites so well suited to hot Aussie summer drinking.

Schnitzel with a lemon squeeze and potato salad?

Go for it!

Fish 'n chips?

Definitely!

Gravlax draped over a goat's cheese omelette?

Indeed!

Poached chicken with a chilli, basil mayonnaise?

Delicious!

This wine is one we can all be proud of.
