mt. wines 2019 Heathcote Sangiovese

Too many Aussie Sangiovese taste like tarry overly acidic paint stripper.

Remember bad Chianti sold in cheap Italian dives?

Yeah, those.

This one isn't like that.

Black cherry wafts up, just like well made ripe Sangiovese should.

It's medium weight with a lingering multi-faceted finish.

Good value too.

Try it with a terrific pizza: prosciutto and onion. Or a grilled steak. Or eggplant lasagne.
